Hi all,

Just wanted top find out what peoples top 3 mods are, when I had my 6 series remember most were -

1 - mtec angel lights upgrade
2 - eibach lowering kit
3 - wind deflector (bought one but never used it and instead went for some 20inch M6 reps)

If i had to pick three IMO i would say:

1.tune
2.painted reflectors
3.drop

Girth/smooth/grip and in control, youll literally FEEL like driving your car more.

If you have shadowline, then gloss grils look better. Not sure if Teddy (SSDD - google it) does them, he's a reputable seller. If not, PM use Cyba, I bought some off him - very easy to deal with.

I bought OEM BMW ones last time around.

Presuming shadowline is the non chrome strip around the windows, and is the gloss grill just the plain black non carbon as fair few carbon on ebay? Thanks for the link.

Yes, that one. IMHO it's the first mod any non-M owner should do as it feels so good compared with a standard wheel. It's one of the few mods you use constantly while you're driving the car and it's amazing how it significantly improves the driving experience (yes, it actually makes your entire car feel better to you).

You may say that you use a tune or suspension constantly, but unless you're pushing the car those mods aren't really being used - they're just waiting there for you for when you need them. When you're just leisurely driving around the neighborhood, you're still using the steering wheel and it feels great even at a relaxed pace. In fact, I had my M3 wheel custom made about 8mm thicker than a standard OEM M3 wheel. Here's a good way to look at it... You enjoy most mods just about every time you drive your car (unless you're just going to the corner grocer). You enjoy this mod the entire time you're driving your car - regardless of speed, conditions, destination, etc. If you've never driven a good car with a thick, comfortable steering wheel you should give it a go and you'll instantly understand. And when you first install it in your own car, mark my words, it'll make the entire car feel better when driving it.
