Picked up my new E92 LCI M-Sport today..
and I had told the dealer when ordering the car not to drill holes, but what do you know.. I show up to pick up the car and I see a front plate bracket drilled onto the car...
do you think i can push him to make things right? i don't think it's realistic that anything can be done but one of my buddies is telling me to pursue it..

Congrats on the new car. That would have aggravated me enough to not have taken delivery of it. That is a pet peeve of mine. In NC we don't need front plates but in VA where I have bought cars they do.

I hear ya, but I'm wondering is there really anything they can do about it? Realistically I guess..

If you really wanted to push, you can argue for them to fill the hole and repaint the bumper, but I wouldn't do it. You'd have to worry about color matching and it's never as good as factory paint.

A lot of Le Mans lately....It's REALLY making me want it now. I hope I don't regret my decision once my car finally arrives.

When I picked up my CPO 335 the dealer was able to fill the holes and paint the bumper. It looks perfect, couldn't even find where the holes were before. Mine's Jet Black so maybe the color match was a little easier.
Car looks great BTW!

Looks hot. Your choice; 1) Walk away and agonize over waiting for a new car. 2) Risk that they fill the holes and mess up paint matching.
Or take delivery and enjoy the beast. I mean COME ON!!! Its a brand spankin' NEW E92 with M-Sport, in the perfect color none the less. |

AW is still my favorite color, although my previous 335 was AW (obviously ) so I wanted to change it up. You'll love it.

Congrats, looks awesome, I would have gotten something off the price of the car because of the holes especially considering you asked them not too. Perhaps the price of a new factory bumper and the price of paint?

No. I would not accept the car. I did just that on my last car for the same exact reason.
It's been deflowered and you'll never love it. |

That's not necessarily a problem. They still made money somewhere. I don't think BMW has holdback, but they probably get other incentives for selling a certain number of cars.
I'm a little picky, but I definitely would have argued for something - maybe an accessory I was interested in or a crazy good deal on a performance exhaust install... Either way, they screwed up, and they should make it right. Good luck - hope it works out. Beautiful car.
