BMW My Remote App

Has anybody been able to get the BMW My Remote App to work thru BMW assist. I downloaded it onto my iphone, after setting up a UK itunes account, but can not login.

I got it also and logged in successfully using the BMW assist info my dealer gave me. Sadly however it has not worked with my car because my year is not supported.

My car is 2006, I was not expecting it to work too but wanted to at least login, I called BMW assist and got my login info, and it still doesn't work. I think they shut it down for USA.

Yes, great idea, but I see that it only works for 9/08 builds and later....and maybe not even that if you're in the US.

oh well.

I just tried the app and it works, but only lets me get the location of the car, lock, and unlock the doors. The feature that can send an address to the car does not work from within the app, but does work from the google maps website. I have a 09 135i which for some reason shows up as 135is in the app.

Also it requires the email address and password that the sales person set up for me when I bough the car. If you don't know what they are you should be able to log in to the bmw na website and print the papers that you signed at the time of the sale, and it'll be on there. Thats how I found my login info.

Are you guys Jailbroken to get this? As far as I was aware, it's UK-only an not available in the US App Store.

No need to be jail broken. Create a uk account, and you can download it.

updating this thread just installed the app works great !

just wondering if it arms the alarm it doesnt chirp once unlocked or locked.

i lock it via the app and then if i press the lock button on my keyfob it chirps..any ideas?

how can you open a UK Itunes account? it's asking me for a UK billing address, how did you guys make it work?

Looks like it's bound to your E-mail account. It will have to be cracked to work with other iTunes accounts.

I got it to work but I can only lock/unlock and locate the car on a map. Where do you see the option to honk the horn/flash the lights?
