state inspection at dealer

hey guys, my state inspection is due.

I have painted reflectors, you think the dealer will care and not let me pass the test?

or should i take it to an independent shop?

I would think that a dealer would be THE FIRST to notice that something like that is different on your car than the other ones. If they pass you or not, that would probably depend on how "by the book" they are. I'd go with an independant just in case though.
