BMW Anniversary Gift Fail?

So I just got my 1 year anniversary gift from BMW. I would say they are by no means obligated to give me anything and I actually quite like the gift.

It's a concept drawing on nice card stock of the e92 coupe. Looks pretty damn sweet with a really low roof of course.

The only reason I ask is because I seem to remember others getting better gifts such as key fobs and even watches. Did I dream this or did they reduce the quality of their anniversary gifts?

Sidenote: Is there a 2 year gift and so on?

All in all, total props to BMW...it was a classy marketing gesture that made me feel good!

I can't speak to whether or "anniversary gifts" are better or worse, but rest assured you got something for free that you like and didn't expect - you're ahead and happy. Comparing what you have to others will always open the door for a feeling of dissatisfaction or jealousy, when it's really not necessary. Be happy with what you drive, and anything above and beyond is an added bonus

Bastards - I got the sketch at year one, no pen at year 2, coming up on year 3 now.

If BMW reads this - I am buying an Audi if I don't get my pen soon!

are these gifts only applicable to those who bought brand new BMWs? Or do those who buy CPOd vehicles also get them. I think the sketch is cool and would nice in the cubicle. ahem, office.

From what I understand, these anniversary gifts are only customers that purchased a brand new vehicle.
