My E90 is the exact same, I think some new wipers will cure this issue, I'm sure mine are original and the rubber must be getting dry.

yes, it's been mentioned before, sort of weird but not really a problem IMO

At least some of you have experienced this too. I don't know if I should bring it in for service on this ? The pulsing is quite strong in brakes. Not gas though

I wouldn't got that far, try some new wipers, it works. The rubber dries out and they jump across the windshield.

Mine did it too.
Absolutely unacceptable to me. Completely ridiculous! BMW Taiwan service tried to pass it off as normal too, part of the safety and quality of the car. When I was done laughing I told them to fix it or they will hear more from me. Magically, the "normal" situation of wipers shaking the car and making a noise was resolved. And mine had nothing to do with the wiper blades...they did it from day 1 in the rain and the car has only 4500km on it today. Last edited by Taipei-TT; 11-02-2010 at 07:37 PM.. |

It's the brakes drying while it's raining. U can turn it off by switching the lights away from the auto setting your manual should explain it.

Similar concept to how moving the headlight knob away from auto prevents them from moving side-to-side around corners.

I don't know why you guys think it's so unacceptable. It's not THAT noticeable. Be glad you have wipers. And brakes.

You seem to feel a lot of things in a BMW...its probably just virbation travelling through solid structure of the car. Your hands and feet being sensitive to touch...they pick it up easy.
