Airbox mod

I have done the carbon filter delete from my 2010 e90 and have read about a silencer delete. What does this look like? Do I have one in my stock airbox?

Its behind the airbox, You need to pull that part out that you found....Then cut the silencer off and plug it from the outside.

If your feeling risky you dont have to cut and could plug from the inside, but potentially you could suck a large plastic plug into your engine

This one is by far the most useless and also potentially the most risky DIY mod

I don't think I'll do it. I don't want any glue / plastic / non-MAF'd air getting sucked in.
