Thank God it wasn't my Fuel Pump

So, one day last week I was driving the kids to practice and my car died. It went into limp mode and feel on its face. Glad I got pulled over in time and let it sit for a while, and started it again. Got going and it was shaking violently and all the time I am thinking "great another fuel pump failure!"

Took it in and my ignition coil went causing one of the cylinders to not fire! Sure hope it didnt cause any damage but it's covered

Anyone have this happen? New ignition coil, new plugs and hopefully I will be back on the road.

How many miles on the car ? I've been getting poor MPG on mine. I need to take the car in for a check up. I am afraid it might be carbon build-up that 's happening to other 335i.

Interesting. I keep a spare coil in the garage. I can't wait until bavtec lets us program new injectors. Sorry to see you leave the 335 world. I've had a pretty positive experience so far with the 335, and plan to stick with it for a while longer. I'm due to try seamfoam in the spring time.

Will you be staying in the BMW world with the new vehicle?
