TOO expensive... I have full coverage with USAA with glass (including my homeowners insurance, renters insurance) and I pay about 180... I checked with liberty mutal for the BMW Insurance, and for just full coverage with glass (no homeowners or renters) they wanted 480 a month...No thank you

They are great. Forgave 2 accident/incidents and my premium went down!

USAA is awesome, but not everyone is able to get USAA unless they or a close relative (ie: mom/pop) served in the armed forces.

Not easy to get. NJ Manufacturers is a little easier and really great, but still not open to everybody.

They are great and really cheap at least for me. Over 25, clean history, have 2000 Audi A4 quattro, 2002 Bravada, and 2007 328xi, 250/500k, $100 deductable on comprehensive, and I pay about $165 month total for all three. You get 10% off if you own an Audi.

We don't have rates like that in NJ no matter who you're with.

One of my friends was hit by someone with them and he ended up suing and won the case for $250,000. It has been over two years and they still have not paid him. Think about how that will affect you when you need them. Of course most claims aren't anywhere near that high but if they can't pay that claim, I don't see how they are even offering life insurance or home owners insurance, let alone car insurance.

Same experience - their quote was considerably more expensive than Progressive, State Farm and All State

They were the cheapest for us as well and we have glass coverage as well. We pay $188.47 a month for three fully covered vehicles and I have an 18yr old with a horrible driving record. We had to file claims twice and they were very prompt and easy to deal with. Good luck!

Ha Liberty Mutual for over 20 years, they were great, but this year I decided to compare against GEICO, when I saw how much lower GEICO was, I asked around and everyone seems happy with GEICO, I called LM to request a better price (I have home and 4 cars on LM for years) , but they could not come close to GEICO, so I switched.

I should have switched years ago, LM is good but over priced.

I have LM but not through BMW.
I have a $2,000 claim in process with a $1,000 deductible.

So far it has been a TERRIBLE experience.

appraiser sat on it for 4 days
they low-balled the quote from the dealer to fix a bumper and a tail light by %25
they quoted after market parts
they do NOT honor the dealer's rate on labor and materials.

The absolute worse insurance experience I've ever had.
btw - my rates are top dollar even with bundled home owners.

I do not recommend liberty mutual.
paying attention bmw na ?

Suck. Too expensive. Been with them for 3 years - 28, clean record, 328xi. I pay $180/month. Time to switch.

I believe through the BMW program you're guaranteed OEM parts only. However I use to have Farmers and had issues with them wanting to use aftermarket parts, I feel if you insure an OEM car, they should replace the parts with OEM parts. I don't think I should have to sacrifice quality for them to save money. I switched to Amica, who uses oem parts, however I spoke to the claims department, and will still continue to shop around, but sometimes that only refers to actual crash parts with different companies and not cosmetics such as bumpers which the can choose to use aftermarket or remanufactered pieces. Amica has had the JD Powers #1 ratings in several categories for the past 10 years. I went through hell with farmers on what should have been a easy fix, I have a clear driving record and pay in full each year.

I would like to hear from others who have Liberty Mutual that have actually filed claims through the BMW program and non. I don't mind paying more for coverage if it means the claim will be taken care of without headaches, though no insurance company wants to at the end of the day.
