Door lock broke twice...

2 months ago, my 06 325xi sedan's passenger door lock broke - it locks but won't unlock using the fob or the central locking system. I replaced the actuator and that fixed the problem. Now it's broken again, with the same problem as before.

Is this just bad luck, or is something else causing the actuators to prematurely fail? I don't want to replace it only to have it break on me again.

could also be a fuse issue..this happened to me last year. the dealer replaced two actuators and changed the fuse from a 15A to 20A..knock on wood, no problems since. from my readings, this is fairly common on our cars, i have an 06 E90.

I've changed the fuses to 20A, but didn't change out the driver side actuator since it's still working, only the passenger side
