Does radio software update effect engine software?

Can one be done without the other?

I just had a software update done because the intermittantly the radio would not power on. I was wondering if this update was gauranteed to provide me with a new version of the engine management software.

I did a search, but could not seem to find a definite answer.

Anybody?

Had vehicle programmed with CAS per SIB 65-16-09. Do you know what that means? Do I have to plan to get my flash tune redone?

Why not drive the car and see if the flash tune is still there?

SIB 65 xx xx refers specifically to the "sound system" category

I would speculate that a car/engine software update was not done
just my 2¢
