Can you auto-fold the mirrors?
2011 E90 here. I always find myself forgetting to fold the mirrors when I park. Is there a setting to have the car do it automatically when I turn it off or something similar? I don't have CA.

i have a 2007 e90 without CA either, i've tried to do it manually by hand but they dont seem to move at all its too hard.. dont want to break anything either.. can it be coded to work automattically...cause a car more than 20k MUST be able to fold the mirrors if a honda can do it!!!!

Power fold is only on premium package, CA has nothing to do with it. No they do not auto fold or unfold and the dealer will not program it even if you give them the spot and value to change as it's not an authorized function, beleive me I have tried that. There are people on here who have coded things themselves, Me I'm going to basically purchase the remote key module on of these days.

It's not broken and yes I did search the issue before. The reason I made another thread about it was because I didn't see a specific answer for my model year and perhaps things might have changed since the last post in the last thread about this issue or a new member had found a way, etc, etc. Just because a thread exists on this issue does not mean that no new threads should be made concerning it.
In all honesty, this was my extremely long effort at telling you "F U" indirectly. The previous sentence may have nullified the preceding paragraph. |

auto fold
I believe the last year for this feature was 06. My wifes 06 325 does the auto fold when you hold your hand on the door handle with comfort access. Always know the car is locked when you look back. I had to pay to get my alarm armed on my 09 so I could get the audible alarm. I think the higher -ups at BMW removed the feature for just this reason - so the dealers could charge 500 bucks to arm the alarm.

Premium package is required for folding mirrors, programming with an autologic or remoteKEY+ will get you mirror folding/auto windows.

they only fold if you put the key in the door and turn it to the right to lock the car manually.
im not sure why bmw didnt do it. its like they got 80% there and just called it quits. it makes no sense why they would make it possible to do it with the key but not the fob lol |

The audi I just bought has an option to auto fold the mirrors every time the ignition is switched off and doors are locked. I would really love this in my 335i if its possible. Will the remoteKEY+ do that doors lock and autofold mirror with just a single push of the lock button?

Should have done your researching before purchasing the car and purchased the appropriate packages for folding mirrors. You dont have premium. They dont fold. Wont fold.
