I love my Space Gray. The black looks great as well, but keeping a black car clean is a nightmare.

black will always be dirty.

no offense, but why not get a color that has some.... color? bmw has some nice colors, why does everyone want some shade of black?

Nothing is nicer than a clean black car. Just take care of it and it shouldn't be a problem. Everyone here who says black is a pain is over exaggerating.

Neither, get alpine white....best color in my opinion. Looks the best when it's clean, and doesn't show every bit of dirt like darker cars. Keeping a dark car clean is impossible......Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut if I had to choose between the two I'd say Black with the red, that would be sick...

Given your choices: Black Sapphire or Space Gray, I would go for the black. How about the Alpine White?

Black Sapphire! - I actually have a 2011 BSM E92 M-Sport arriving in approx 10 days. I think the black best compliments the design and looks very classy. The Space Gray is just too light for me, too close to silver. I absolutely love and would have picked a dark anthracite gray, but BMW doesn't offer a color like that anymore.

I debated a long time between Coral vs Black Dakota leather. The Coral was clearly my favorite, but I chose Black for more practical reasons. With the Coral, I'd worry to much about messing it up....my wife always seems to have lotion or oil on her legs & arms, plus I like to be able to toss my backpack, groceries or whatever onto the passenger seat and not have to worry whether there is something on the bottom that will mar or stain the seat.

Overall, I think the BSM & Coral will look best. But, Space gray with Coral is a great combo too. Either way you will have a fantastic looking car!

Thanks for the input.

CRG3...GL picking up your car.

I currently own a 328xi Black Sappahire Metallic with Coral Red interior and I love it.

I feel pressured to pick a different color since I'm getting a new car. This is why I'm considering the Space Gray.

I'm also concerned about not being able to see the black rear diffuser with a black car.

So confused....I'm suppose to make a decision to order the car tomorrow morning....guess no sleep for me tn, haha.

Space Gray will show off the lines better than black; no contest.

I got space gray because it develops more shades and show better the lines of the car. A black car can look more agressive, and it also looks smaller, but it won't show its lines and relief so well.
My seats are oyster and I think the combination looks superb, but it's not for everyone's temper. I can imagine a younger guy preferring something more colorful, like blue... but I'd never get red seats.
If you want to see the color combination I am talking about, check the thread about the european delivery with a trip in the Alps, and you'll see how great it looks in pics.

My buddy has a black 335, I have a Space Gray 328.

My car stands out a lot more due to the color.
