yeah, my local Costco has one for $99 too, but it's red and weighs ~100 lbs b/c it's made of steel.

don't know if weight matters to you or not...

also, reliability-wise, they're all going to be the same unless you want to spend $500+ for an American or European-made one...

This is the one I've had for 3 years now, works great and you can't beat the price.

I use the blue Harbor Freight one that I got on sale for $59.99. Can't find the link at the moment though. There is usually an ad/coupon for it in the back of the car magazines. Works great so far.

Can any of them get to the jack point in the front center of the e90? I've a 2.5 ton jack from Sam's club and it won't reach it.

I have had the Costco one for about 7+ years (it was blue when I got it), its very heavy but very good. I have had issues with it and it has gotten under my lowered cars.

Go for the harbor freight one. I have a Craftsman one (paid like 120 for it) and have had problems with it holding pressure. Not a safe jack.

Whatever brand, NEVER trust a jack alone if you are going under the car.

I think it's even cheaper with a monthly coupon. I have that jack and it works just great, no need to spend more!

Lucky I checked the user ratings 4 years ago when I considered Craftsman, page after page of users saying it was junk and leaked oil out of the box.
