Negotiating Power Because of Recall???
I'm currently looking to buy a 2007 CPO or NON-CPO 335i sedan and I was wondering if I could negotiate any discounts because of the factory recall?
The recall is not a deal breaker for me, I just want to go into this with all the ammo I can get! Thanks! |

Having said that, I don't think the impact will be that great, but I'm also curious to hear any experiences. |

I would think not. The recall effected all 335's, so the general 335 market value will reflect any flux in price.
Now if a particular 335 has more issues, an accident, etc... then I see more room to negotiate. Ulimately, it's worth a shot to ask for a price reduction. The seller may be desparate enough to sell for under market value. However, I see little bargaining available from a widespread recall like the HPFP. Good luck. |
