Need Advice on Delivery of '11 328i

Hello all,

Just got word that my car has arrived. Dealer wants me to pick it up before the end of the month. I was gonna wait until early next month so as to eek the most out of my current lease. Sounds like they want it out by month end to increase their numbers blah blah... So my SA asks if there is anything he could do to sweeten the pot so to speak so that I'll pick it up before month end. He had suggested maybe they could throw in some rubber floor mats. Not interested... just gonna take the ones out of my current car.

Any suggestions (within reason) of "add-ons" you guys might suggest?

I asked about blacklines but I guess they aren't available for the new style taillights. Was also thinking maybe the aluminum pedals but wanted to hear some other opinions.

Thanks guys and gals

You could try and get the missing tools from the toolkit, the missing hood insulation pad, the European armrest, or a spare tire kit.

So the dealer is using floor mats to "sweeten the deal?"

Seriously?

Have them pay you back for the days you didn't use the car?

Seriously is right! I just picked up a new 328 last week and my CA gave me a set of rubber and a set of OEM BMW mats - front and rear - as an "appreciation" gift.

The deal is done so really they don't have to give me squat... I got a great deal on the car but if they want to get the car off the lot before month end and they want to offer me something extra to make it happen I'm all for it. HE asked ME if there was "anything he could do" which I presume to mean: let me throw something extra in there for ya.... At any rate, I appreciate everyone taking the time to read this and give me their input. With the exception of the person who suggested the BJ... I mean come on... really?! I thought I could have curtailed those comments by my "within reason" disclaimer.

That's not a bad idea at all.... was going to get the windows done locally by the same guy that has done all my cars in the past but why not get it free. The warranty is an interesting option as well.
