Post your winter touring pics

Anyone taken pictures of their car in scenic winter locations?

These are from between Denbigh and Betws-y-Coed, north Wales.

Fantastic pics! If I had suitable tyres I would go on some long drives into mid-Wales.

Yep, very nice pics. The first few look very Scandinavian in fact!!

I see you are from London - did you go up to Wales for a trip out in the snow or were you planning to be there anyway?

Amazing shots - really not helping my urge to get a proper camera (my hint to the missus list night fell on deaf ears ).

I'm intrigued why you blanked out all your plate except the letter 'L' .

Very picturesque and impressive that the road had been cleared.

Awesome pics, almost looked like you were driving on the wrong side of the road here in Norway.

Awesome pics and a lovely place

Love the first but can't help thinking a symmetrical picture would have been epic, i.e. car perfectly in the centre of the road.

With tree line closing in the distance.

Not exactly scenic (it is Portsmouth after all) and it was taken on a phone but 'twas a lovely day for sure.

I can imagine the headline 'death pile up caused by man parked in middle of icy road taking pictures of his car'

Some of Mrs 'Shangs friends live up there, so went for a weekend visit. But I like taking trips, car already has over 8,000 miles since getting it in July plus I've put 3,000 miles on the bike since mid year too

Lazyness

Maybe you can just buy the camera and hope for the best.... One time, my wife went on holiday and when she got back a new motorbike had sort of turned up while she was away. She actually really liked that bike, we went all over the place on it. Have you got kids, you can deploy the new camera on family photos and she will love it

I've only got the standard Continental summer RFTs. The road had been salted within the last couple of days & there was only about 0.5" snow from the night before. The verges were icy but I stayed away from them.

BTW kaishang, are the rear folding headrests an option or is that standard now? My LCI only has a centre folding one.

The folding headrests were a £45 option. Don't think I'd bother with them again. OTOH I forgot to order the shade band on top of the windscreen....
