keep 330d or take a new 320d.....mmm?

Well my 330d is almost 3 years old and i have to make a tough choice.

1. Buy and keep my current 330d M-Sport for another year (or so) until the new 3 series is out. Ballon payment is about £15,400, not sure what it's worth to be honest.

Spec is
330d M-Sport (ED, but non LCI)
08 reg, 52k miles
Auto
Pro Nav
Business Audio
Leather
Seat Heaters
USB
Xenons
Folding & Dimming Mirrors

2. Take the 320d M-Spot Company car now and keep that for 3 years.

320d M-Sport PLus would have:-

Pro Nav
Harman Kardan Audio
Leather
Seat Heaters
USB
Visibility Pack
Folding & Dimming Mirrors

Money wise the 330d would work out about £50 a month cheaper for fnow taking everything into account.

Really not sure what to do?

Is the £50 saving on the 330d taking into account an extended warranty?

I'd stick with the 330d then, at 52k miles it's just run in nicely!

Won't get much for that, maybe a couple of pints.

Does £15,400 sound about right to buy it?

My final value fee is 13k, that will be August 2011 for a Jan 2007 E92 330d SE. Yours sounds about right I reckon.

There's quite a queue Carlos! but........never say never

I should add that in general you are just taking clients there and have to watch, but not always....especially if THEY get generous and start paying!

RIch,

I have a mate who sold his 330d and got a 320d instead. Biggest car mistake he's made. Keep the 330d and enjoy it. I would absolutely choose an older 330d over a new 320d. It's just so much more of a car in my opinion.

Rich, the pain you would suffer, every moment you drive the 320d, isn't worth it. You would compare the way it sounds, the way it picks up, it's comparative coarseness, every time you drove it.

If you had an old old 330d that was falling to bits and was poorly specified then I can see that there would be enough pros to compensate, or if you owned the 330d outright, were taking the company car and pocketing the sale price of the 330d then that is also compensation but for what you have described, the driving experience will all be in the wrong direction.

And it will likely sour your feelings to the new car.

Paying less money for a better car that just happens to be 3 years older sounds like a no brainer.
