advice for fighting speeding ticket (socal)

Got a speeding ticket for going 79 on the freeway. 65 max in California. Anyone have success in fighting traffic tickets in socal? I fought one once through written form, but didn't win.

Don't waste your time. You can never win. Just pay it in payments and do traffic school if you don't wanna pay $300-500 at once.

Get a Passport or Valentine 1 and start preventing another ticket.

Lawer up is your only hope. It will cost more than the ticket but you likely won't have the ticket on your record.

some lawyers are cheap for traffic tickets. they sometimes help, sometimes dont. all they really do is try to talk the officer out of going to trial and/or keep resetting the case to make the court date fall on a day where the officer cant show up.

and of course, never try to represent yourself if u're actually going to fight it b/c ppl always end up humiliating themselves in front of the judge and jury.

I always get a lawyer. Sometimes I pay more, sometimes less, but they always get the points off and I dont have to go to driving school.
