NoVA area mechanic
Hey guys,
Thanks in part to the advice on this forum I just picked up a 2006 E90 330i / 6MT with 47k miles. Does anyone have a recommendation for a shop in the Fairfax, VA area (or close by) that does good maintenance work and doesn't charge dealer prices? Also, I have gotten a recommendation by BMW to do a coolant / power steering fluid flush, and some sort of throttle body carbon build up cleaning (even though the CBS system says the car's maintenance is up to date.) Of course the dealer wants like $500 to do this. Do you guys think this is necessary to get done? Thanks! |

I prefer to be more proactive on maintenance than the CBS. I've taken my BMW's to this indy:

I have the same car and I take it to IMA Motorsport in Chantilly, VA. http://www.imamotorsport.net/ Ask for Ivan or John. They do a really GREAT job servicing my car and doing installs.
