Question Tow hook location? (E90)

Where is the tow hook located on the E90 that you stick in the front/rear bumpers for when you get stuck? My wife has been doing a lot of snow driving and I wanted to show her how it worked just in case she was stuck and needed to be pulled out I looked all around in the trunk but couldn't locate it.

Anyone know where it's hidden?

Pics would be great....

The hook itself should be in the trunk in your toolkit. Just pop off the plastic squares in the bumper, they're about 2" on a side, and there's a threaded hole into which you can screw the hook to allow towing.

These are old pictures, the tow hook is locate to the right of red circle, lift that cover up you will see the tool kit. On the bumper, remove the square cap and screw in the tow hook. Good luck.

Thanks everyone!

I'll have a look again to see if I see it inside. I know how it works, just couldn't find it to show her....

yeah..tow hook attaches to the car's chassis, so no pulling on the bumper or other more non-sturdy parts.
