E92 Seat Adjustment Questions
Caution: If you have power seats, please STOP here.
For those of you that decided not to go with the premium package with the power seats, I was wondering if the manual adjustments can be configured to your liking. If you have the 6MT, are you also comfortable with your driving position and do you find entering and exiting the seat OK without moving it back in it's tracks? Since I will be the only driver, I figured the power seats won't be used at all, but I don't want to regret not getting the power seats if adjustments are an issue. I'm also 5'8" if that figures into the questions. Thanks for your responses. Steve

I have power seats but can help you as I sell these cars. The manual adjustments work fine and you should not have a problem. They dont have the ease of use like the power seats but are fine anyways. If your the only drive and do not care about power seats then you will be fine.

My car has the manual seats and they work fine. I have all the adjustments necessary to give me a proper driving position. I'm 5'6".
The only thing is being a coupe with BIG doors, in tighter spaces, it's a bit harder to get in/out of the car because you can't swing the doors open as wide. |

Well I'm 6'3" and the headroom in the 3 series hasn't impressed me. I'm currently driving a ti, and it seems to have more headroom than the 335 coupe or sedan with power seats.
I autox with the bmwcca, and I need room for my helmet. |
