FS: 1998 328is 5MT - AVUS BLUE w/ M bits (MD)

I would like to gauge whether there's any interest in my car. My asking price is $5,000 / obo. Feedback and offers are welcome via private message.
  • 1998 BMW 328is coupe
  • 5-speed manual transmission
  • Options: sport package, power sunroof, side air bags, keyless entry w/ alarm, metallic paint, leather seating
  • Avus Blue Pearl Metallic exterior (quite rare and always distinctive)
  • Natural Brown leather interior
  • About 150,000 miles

It is in average/good condition for a car of this age and mileage; it is not in mint/excellent condition. There are dings on the body, most notably a dent on the driver's door as pictured.

I have owned the car since January 2004. I am technically the fourth owner, though practically only the third since the previous owner had the car for only a couple of months. I bought the car CPO certified with ~74,000 miles. The car has been very reliable overall; I now have a 2009 335i and just don't drive the car enough to keep it.

Current performance modifications include:
  • Tein Basic coilover suspension
  • 10mm H&R Trak+ hubcentric spacers
  • OEM BMW S52 (M3 3.2L) camshafts
  • UUC rear trailing arm bushings
  • UUC front camber adjustment plates
  • OEM BMW M3 exhaust
  • JTD Underpanel
Appearance and other modifications include:
  • OEM BMW M3 front bumper
  • OEM M3 side mirrors
  • Kosei K1 wheels (17" x 8.5")
  • OEM Euro-spec taillights (with no orange turn segment)
  • Clear front turn signal housings
  • ZKW Euro glass projector headlights
  • 4500K Catz HID xenon retrofit with new bulbs
  • Alpine CDA-9815 headunit with integrated XM Radio (just enable your subscription and go).
  • Wheelskins leather steering wheel cover
  • OEM BMW fitted car cover
Notable maintenance performed includes:
  • Within the past year - HID bulbs, fog light assembly, turn signals, M3 front bumper conversion including front wheel well liners.
  • Within the past two years - suspension overhaul, power steering hoses, tie rods, passenger side rear wheel bearing, wheel spacers, and some miscellaneous interior parts (sunvisor mounting clips, OEM floor mats, ZHP shift knob and leather shifter boot).
  • Within the past five years - replacement of cooling system (radiator, pumps, hoses, etc.), replacement of the ignition key cylinder, and replacement of the A/C control unit and 11-button OBC.
The car is located in Maryland. I have the clear title. I will provide full Carfax report or high-resolution photos upon request.
