335i on the Roll-Back

Well, after one month ownership my 20,000 mile 08' CPO 335i was placed on a rollback due to a condition that started just when the car should have been coming on boost. It felt like a transmission shudder, but was actually a bad misfire. The condition caused a big loss of power and a terrible case of engine shudder that went away after I stopped and re-started the car. The SES light is on and displays codes P142e and P0302. If the car sees no boost it runs fine, but the moment you punch it...it starts missing and falls on it's face and you have to stop and re-start again. Hoping the new recall for HPFP is the answer.

Codes

"The SES light is on and displays codes P142e and P0302."

Anyone with pump failure seen these codes? Just wondering if dealer will replace pump under recall if that isn't causing this problem.

Is there a particular reason everyone just posted completely unhelpful/inflammatory remarks?

Most of you guys have a lot of posts, so maybe you're reading something into this that I'm (as a noob) am not seeing.

From simple googling, I got this:

http://wwww.bimmerfest.com/forums/sh...=502180&page=2

and other things pretty much saying it's your fuel pump (which is good).
