One Very Psyched New Owner
Just got back a little while ago from trading in my 2004 330xi for this 2008 335xi coupe with 19,994 miles on it.
It comes with the Cold Weather, Premium and Sport packages, as well as Navigation, Park Distance Control, Comfort Access and iPod / USB Adapter. It was previously owned by a woman who had to trade it in on a BMW wagon because they had a baby. Took the car out for a quick test drive today and wow.....enormous difference from my 330xi. The only issue I found was that the bottom driver's side of the front bumper was scraped pretty badly. I almost didn't see it, but they dealership is going to fix it, so for now, I sill have my 330xi. |

great looking car, love the red interior.
okevino, Red is not too common, and is only available on the E92 coupe. I'd think red would be behind black, tan and grey for sure, not sure about saddle. Anyone else really know?

Thanks. I'm really psyched.
I've always loved the 335 when it came out and the design of the coupe really sealed the deal for me. I honestly didn't think I'd find myself in a 335 yet due to price, but the financing and numbers were where I needed them to be and given the low mileage, the options and the color combination - I just couldn't pass this one up. I may be eating rice and tuna for the next month, but hopefully it will have been worth it. lol As for mods, I don't really plan to do anything to it. I pretty much like it the way it is. The only thing I really wish it had was the Logic7 Sound System. The 2007 328xi I test drove last weekend had that sound system and the first time I turned the radio on and turned up the volume, I was like: whoa! The sound is incredible. But I'm pretty confident I can live with the stock system that the car has. |

Congrats! Lots of red interiors these days... (myself being one of them). And rice and tuna?? That's quite the fancy meal there!!! Try cheese and crackers, or instant Ramen! j/k hehe

I'll go to pork and beans before I'll let my car go. Of course, if it comes to that, I'll keep the windows down.

Congrats on the car! If you don't want to mod, you should stay away from the forums. It becomes very addicting!

LOL, you've got a point there. The Ramen is probably cheaper than the canned tuna! hehe

I think if I was going to do any modding, the first would probably be tinting the windows. However, I've always been afraid of bubbles or cracking which see on a lot of tint jobs out there. I haven't learned enough about window tinting and the industry yet, so I'm kind of on the shelf with this one. I am thinking about getting a set of molded mud flaps like the ones I have on my 2004 330xi. They look decent and do a great job of protecting the rocker panels. |

That's actually a great idea. I was checking out some of the brand new BMWs in the showroom yesterday and the carbon fiber wrap trim looks awesome!!

If you're really considering this, one of the local guys does a GREAT job on CF trim wraps. I've seen his work on a few cars and it's perfect. Post up in the NE section or PM me and I'll give you contact details.
