Just separate the clips starting with the lower corner closest to the headlight be firm not too cautious and pull.I have a question though....do you really think that they look better than chrome because i'm not so sure,Almost looks like 2 black holes in front to me.Oh well sure it will look fine good luck.

I used the OEM silver trim part of the grille with the matte back grille centers and it looks great! It gives the grilles definition against the car's color ( mine is Jet Black) and matches the window trim.
