My side mirror...

Hi just want to see if anybody knows why my passenger side mirror is not doing it's automatic tilt-down when i go on reverse??? I just noticed it when i got my car back from the shop for a collision repair... could it been about when they where clearing the codes? what could possibly affect my mirror? also my BlackBerry phone is not sync anymore and i can't sync it at all.... please help need some input on where to check or should i bring it back to the dealer and let them reprogram it for me???...

Check the switch that lets you change the position of your mirrors, it should be in the drivers position otherwise it won't angle down during reverse.

Make sure that little DRV/ PASS switch for mirror adjustment is all the way to the left for pass mirror to tilt while in reverse.

Also it sounds like they disconnected the battery. If that is the case you will probably have to delete your phone from the car and re-pair it.

Yes. Re-pairing it would be the same as pairing it again

Didn't know this and mine had stopped tilting downward. I'll have to check to see if the mirror control is in the driver position!

Thanks!!!

100% sure...the mirror switch MUST be fully to the LEFT or your passenger mirror will not dip. Unless you are in the UK or HK...then it's anyone's guess!
