Cool New member =D. Soon to be 335i Owner.

Hola.
My names Emil and iam brand spankin new to this forum. Ive been checking up back and fourth with this forum for the past 3-4 months just getting information together for my build.

Within the next 3-4 months ill be putting in my order for an E92 sedan

Ive fallen in love with this car and the looks. Amazing doesn't do this car justice. Friends have always tried to get me to go Bimmer (dark side) and pull me away from jap cars.

I pretty much have the colors narrowed down to either AW or SG.
(Still on the fence with this one)

I hate to be "that guy" but I have a few noobish questions.

Ive searched around for some answers and have gotten many as possibly without being a member but here it goes.

1. 335i sedan, Is LEMON interior a speical option that just isnt on the list or is it only for the coupes?

2.Blackline tails for the 335 is a part orderd from a dealership it seems? Whats the price in US for each tail. (Also is this a euro light or whats the deal?)

3.Only way to basically get "clears" for the front lamps is to either get EURO lamps which I believe is around $1500 shipped from germany, is this correct?
(Ive seen people that bake the lights but I would NEVER trust myself to do this)

4. Mtec kit for the 335, where to get it? Ruff Estimate for the cost of the whole kit?

5.ACS kit for the 335, where to get it? Ruff estimate for the cost on this one also.

6. PIAA/LUX 2.0 ...........What exactly is the diffrence? Quality? Appearnce? Price?

I think that pretty much sums up all the questions for now.

Again sorry for being "that guy" and asking these questions.

PS. So far from what ive seen this board seems to be GREAT place and iam greatfull to be apart of it. (Its far diffrent fornt that facist NASIOC board, ran by a bunch of natzis )

Thanks again.

Also is there any reason why I should WAIT to put an order in for a 335i sedan?

Msport package or something that I dont know about that is going to be available on the US E92s?

Welcome Emil. I can't answer your questions about the DIY stuff, because I don't tamper with that, but if you follow the current thread about Lemon leather in the U.S. there should be some info there.

I don't know of any reason to wait unless you have personal financial or logistical considerations. As of March 1 all the newest production changes will be in the cars until any changes made in September for the MY 2008.

Ahhh thank you very much gentlemen.

Is there perhaps another part of the board where I would get more feedback from a few of these questions?

Didn't know where exactly to post these.

Welcome, and congratulations on your decision. To address a few of your questions -
1. Lemon interior is actually a sedan option, I think, but check the thread, I haven't been keeping track, and it's a priority one option that doesn't show up, and most CAs probably won't know about it, but it's definitely there and you can place an order for it
2. Blacklines are made from the same company that produces the E90s taillights, and they're about $250 on eBay.
3. Euros are your best bet.

Hope this helps! Good luck with the car.
