Expensive ipod adapter/Ordered E93 today
Hi,
went to the dealer today to have the ipod adapter fitted for my AW e91 335iA Strolled around the showroom waisting time waiting for the fitting, and as I walked out I found myself with the signed contract for a AW E93 M320i. Didnt know they made it in 320......with 170 hp. Dealer had a cd showing the new M style kit, and it looked bloody fantastic from the poorish pictures. Much buffer than my e91`s M style kit. Ordered AW with beige leather..... but will probably change to black interior. Have Lemon interior on the e91 and fear having light seats on a convertible..... April production will probably land here in early may.... just in time to get som 20"s with black centers and then straight for some toning of the windows (no original option !!) and to the exhaust doctor for some quad pipes..... Dang.....that ipodadapter turned out expensive..... regards Jo

I did that when getting an oil change once. Drove home in a new car. At least they didn't charge me for the oil change!

A dealer tried to do that to me...."Why do you want to drive home in that 'old' car?" The car was 1 yr. old with 11k at the time. Lucky I didn't fall for it and I still have the car, 9 y.o. and 140k later. Daily driver and keeps the mileage, salt, etc. completely off the 335. It's like going to the supermarket hungry, financial advisors say never do that.

Actually, I don't even pretend to blame the salesman. I walked in with the fish hook already in my lip. Even he thought I was nuts.

Nothing like impulse buying. They should put BMW's by the gum and magazine racks near the checkout counter at the supermarket. They would sell more than Honda and Toyota combined!

I went to the dealer for some betalink adhesive for my 330i e90 and ended up leaving with an alpine white 335i. I never got the glue.
