2008 5 Series Twin Turbo
Was at the dealer today getting my first oil change and talked to one of the sales guys about the 5 series..he said 2007's he can't keep on the lot...so i asked him about the 2008....he said the motor will be the twin turbo from the 335's...guess i'll be waiting to check them out....he told me they should be out in a couple of months..

Interesting; it's like an '07.5, even though they'll call it MY '08 then.

don't be
the 5er uses more lightweight material like aluminum to save weight, but the downside of that is repair cost is $$$$$$$$$$

Man the 5-series gets screwed with new models. They keep the same engines as the old model until the three series gets updated. The 2004 525i has less power than my old 1994 325i! (although it is a better engine).

Obvously the 3 series is BMW's biggest seller, its the price point. Go to BMWUSA.com and check out "future vehicles" This has been out for a few weeks and it shows the pictures of the vehicle and the stats. The 5er has been coming out in the spring time for a while now.

yea, the 3's and 5's have always shared engines, so of course it'd happen eventually.
