soon to be for a living. hoping to one day make it to nascar or IRL or something of that sort. i am 16! i have been racing for 6 years now!

well the racecar is 200g's a year to race the season. its not a cheap sport, but the karting is much cheaper, you can race a whole season for around 20grand.

keep pushing man, theres always faster, thats whats so fun about racing. no matter how long you're out there, just the drive to be faster and faster is amazing.

there is a race in Ocala, FL march 17 and 18. come by and check it out. this is a National series karting race.

20gs a year? whats that for, the kart and entry fees? i could afford that, but i have a feeling it actually costs a whole lot more in reality since you cant just go out and race by yourself

why you gotta hate???

well it could cost around 20grand for local club racing. kart (depending on which class you want) can cost anywhere from 3,900 to 15,000(including engine) i used to race this: www.easykart.com , i still do but not very often. it is VERY low maintenance and the cheapest way to go karting! and it is a great way to get into the sport.
