Center Console Question
I'm about to do a simple DIY for my iPod. I got a mounting clip from www.proclipusa.com and a cord that I will plug into the Aux in. There is small gap on the passenger side at the bottom of the console about 1/2 way back that I could feed the audio cable through. The question is how to get the cable end to plug into the aux in jack.
Do any of the plastic trim pieces inside the console come off easily (pardon the camera phone pic), and will routing it mess up the iDrive?

I was haveing the same problem and the console still closes with the wire but I tooo would like another way of wiring the IPOD to the AUX. Don't want to cut into the console and it would also compormise the cooling effect that is built into the console.
