its a good products you do feel a gain, the throttle remap is probably the best part of the tune. a lot of people are going for the AA tune havent tried it, but the BMX is a easy and good way to go that doesnt break the bank either.
never had a problem at the dealership when i had it in, i never even bothered setting it to MAP 0 either i didnt care

Save your money for when your warranty goes kaboom. Unless you have an automatic, it's not gonna make you go "WOW!".

OP, an easy place to start would be to get some scoops and AFE drop in and delete the charcoal filter.

ehh... my ecu adapts to the re-maps about every two weeks, so I either have to reset the ECU or reset the PBX. real PITA imo.. just invest in a real tune (AA or MMW)

The PBX is great. I had it for 2 months and I loved every minute of it. It gets rid of the annoying throttle lag you can definitely feel the increase in power in the low end. You car feels more torquey (especially when carrying passengers). For a stock car, I don't think anything can beat it bang for buck.

makes your car feel like underpowered 4banger cars especially japanese cars. makes you car have a touchy throttle. dont believe adjusting throttle response brings HP gains... fuel map change may but this is a piggy back to an ecu... i personally think there is a better way to improve your ride with same amount of cost.
all PBX does is make your 50% throttle input and converts it to 100%. so in simple term it just gives full throttle with the effort of pressing on the gas only half way. PBX = less refinement.

I got my PBX about three months ago. After exprimenting with the different maps I settled on Map 2. It completely eliminated the throttle lag but did not give that over sensitive throttle feel. I have not have to reset the PBX at all. I just set it and forget it. Everytime I drive my car now I have a broad smile on my face.

Fix your car first then leave it alone if your dad lets you keep it.
Is this your first set of wheels?
