335is on Television

This week on Direct TV channel HDTH (I have no idea what network that is, but in the DC area, it's channel 281) the show Motorweek will feature a segment on the 2011 BMW335is. The segment will air on 10-Feb-2011.

+1 that guy is SO obnoxious. plus their reviews are awfully boring - they have some jackass flop down in the interior and hit some buttons then fold down some seats...then they do 0-60 and 60-0 tests. then they drive it on the road for a second while saying something not particularly insightful...and then some dude talks about changing spark plug wires on an old camry.

yawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwn

I'll DVR it. I used to watch Motorweek with my father when I was a kid. Corny as it is, I still enjoy it and it brings back memories of dad.

I like that they don't have so much "flash" in their review segments, so you actually can see and discern the car's details, and I like their "just the facts, ma'am" approach...I don't need to be entertained by a car review.

I too watched with the old man as a kid, so there's definitely a nostalgic appeal to Motorweek.

I've watched Motorweek for a few decades.

Years ago there was no internet and if you didn't have a magazine subscription, this was the only show to get automotive news.

They do have a very old format but some parts still work for me. When they use words like "Boy Racer" to describe the M3, I know I'm still to young for this show!

They really gave no opinion either way on the 335is other than "who cars, its fun basically". The bigger revelation for the 335is was 0-60 in 4.7 seconds:
