Need help verifying options included on a pre owned 07 328i

Hey guys,

Newb in search of my first e90 and have a questions. I do ALOT of research before I buy and have some questions/concerns.

I am looking at a 2007 328i with the following listed options:
Sport Package
Cold Weather Package
Premium Package
Xenon Lights
Logic 7 stereo.
Navigation.
Bluetooth.

This is from a non BMW dealer but a dealer that sells high end cars and may be oblivious because:

The car, from the images Ive seen:
Does not seem to have Xenon lights.
Does not have headlight washers in the bumper.
Does not have speakers in the rear doors.
May not have power seats??
Has upgraded BMW wheels but not the standard sport wheels.

I dont know the difference between the sport seats and sport steering wheel.
I dont know where heated seats are.
No pictures of rearview mirror, headliner.

The car is still seems like a good deal as it is 18.9k with 49k miles.

I have a few other interior pictures if it will help.

Any way to tell premium package? Are those manual seats? Plus I dont see the 2 presets.

Im thinking in may just be BMW assist thats giving the bluetooth.

Where are the heated seat controls?

The dealer is right on the following options:

Logic 7 stereo
Navigation
Bluetooth

This car is definitely not a sports package, but it looks very clean from the inside. No signs of wear and tear on the leather or anything, exterior could look clean as well but pictures are limited.

At least it has bluetooth, navigation, ipod integration, and low miles. For $19,000, I would try to bargain with them for a better price because, that price is good for 328i with all the options they mentioned.

The heated seats control would be underneath where your stereo unit is. If it's not there, then it's just a blank cover with nothing on it. Your seats are manual, no memory seats, no heated seats.

Premium package always has leather and power seats. That car has neither.

Hey Ant, how can you tell it has Logic7 installed?

It seems to have no speakers in the rear doors which I read is the indicator (besides the dash speaker). This is close to 6k in options that are mis represented. I know the car is still close to the asking price. I will bring my facts, what should I offer.

Or should I look elswhere, I would like to have xenon, Logic7, and leather. lol

Logic7 has a speaker in the middle of the front dash.

If u look at the steering wheel, theres no metal trim on the middle parts. Therefore no sports package! Also the button for seat warmer is under the audio controls amd its not there no no heated seats. Yes they are manu seat u can clearly see that from the pics. Now what u should ask the dealer is if its leather or letherette seats cuz i thinls its leatherette.

There are no pictures in the add of the top of the dash. But shouldnt there be speakers in the rear door, which I did have a picture of?

When I was shopping I wanted the same options as you listed. In the end I got a 06 330i as it was much easier to find one loaded.

Well, Im glad I asked these questions before I bought the car. I had suspicions about everything I listed.

Did they know about these omissions and are trying to sell to the unknowing?

Or should I call them out and try to get them to knock more off the price?

Or keep shopping, deals like this arent unusual? But this place is suspect.

Are you sure it has bluetooth ? Was it standard with Nav? I thought the only way to get BT other than with premium was to order it in a package with SOS. Without a shot of the front headliner, I can't tell if it has SOS. The icons on the steering wheel are there for BT and not BT cars.

The only thing I'm sure that car has is Nav and better rims/tires than stock. You should also check to see if they are run flats, and check to see if they choose the right size of tire to prevent spedo error.

The car looks nice, but I'm going to pass on it. The fact they listed everything and it has almost nothing mentioned is extremely concerning. Plus I want xenon BT Logic7 nav and sport.

After this type of mis representation. I can confidently assume BT is non existent in this vehicle.
