Accurate count of people with fuel pump problem, only post if you have had problem
This is for those who havehad problems with the pump and had it replaced due to the propblems, not the recall.
I would like to get a realistic idea of the number of people who have had fuel pump problems, not those who have had it replaced by the recall, but those who have had failure or limp mode or other symptoms which lead to it being replaced. Only those that had symptoms and failures. Please do not post if you did not have any problems. I repeat Please do not post if you did not have problems. Please do not post to offer your opinions on the matter. this is just to get a count nothing more If you have had problems and had your pump replaced, please say how many. An example of a post would be: I have had 3 pumps replaced. That is all. Do not need to go into details or stories I am not trying to open a discussion or debate. I just want to get an idea of how many people have gotten pumps and how many pumps they have gotten. Thank you for your help. Again, please do not post if you have not had the problem. It will screw up the count. Thank You!

2007 e90 had two pumps already and i've only had the car for 2 months. The first replacement was at 61K miles and the second at 63K miles. The dealership said sometimes this happens after i asked him if they put a "new" pump. Had the car now for one week with no issues....knock on wood....

Haha good luck...your not going to get an accurate number off a forum.
Youll need data from BMW....which won't be available to you. |

08 e92, pump replaced 7/10, or was it 8/10, anyway, pump last summer. Software was replaced first at 6/10 for sure. Only the 1 pump. Mileage was about 32k or so.

I've had mine replaced once since I've had it, there's no telling what happened in the 40k it had on it before I got it though. It wasn't a big deal but after 3 of them (in your case) I'd be pretty pissed.
