New Prices for E-92 Coupe
My CA said that BMW will be announcing new pricing for the 328 and 335 Coupe effective March 1st. Is this correct?

the price for sport pack went up $100 and premium $100 and the base went up 200 or $300. The destination on all cars after March is now 775 up from 695

As long as the order has been put in as a sold order with your name on it before March 1 you're price protected. The problem may be that for April production your dealer may not have an allocation until March 1. Better check with him.

The good news is that apparently the 328i Coupe basic price remained as is. Does anyone have any contradictory information. Also, I am assuming the ED prices will also increase the same way the MSRP prices are.

It depends. Usualy they claim that when factory increases the price it will also influence your final price. If you ordered in march production your price should be the same as for any other car built in march (until the prices change again). At least that happened to me and i ordered mine in january

Unfortunately in my country the BMW office holds the right to change the prices at anytime they please - like for march production  I would assume this could be the case elsewhere also.

Note that some of the increases affect only MSRP and not invoice thus just increasing dealer margin. |

actually, US car prices are the most expensive from BMW. The rest of the world pays mostly taxes on their cars but BMW doesnt pocket as much.

Still, the end result is that BMWs are the most affordable in the US vs the rest of the world.

My dealer just informed me I am protected from the increases. So I'm good to go. Also a price increase, no matter how much, is a big deal when the car is already very expensive and you have all of your options priced out to what you can spend.

funny how people are willing to pay $50k for a car, but think twice about paying $300 extra, not even a 1% increase.
but, then again, less money towards mods |
