Need help on 335 purchase

Looking at a 2007 335xi CPO SEDAN

Graphite exterior
Dakota leather on the inside
Navigation
Premium package
Sports package
6-speed
moonroof
bluetooth
etc

41k miles and the price is good

I asked for the service record and was concerned about the main issues that these cars have been known for.

Build date = 2007/08

**BMW has extended the warranrty of the HDP from 4 years to 10years or 120k miles.**

9k miles: it was in for Throttle response under all operating conditions, car was shaking, HDP failure, Taillight failure

27k miles: e60 e61 e9x e82 n54 high pressure pump failed, EKP control unit software error/internal device, taillight bulb

41k steering wheel cover (trim color) discolored, spark plugs replaced, n54 injector check, B13 14 10

Realizing that the car still has a warranty up through Oct of 2013 and is CPO, would you buy this car? It would be a 10 hour drive to pick it up, but I would always consider that for the right car. That won't effect the CPO warranty will it? I just don't know if I should be scared of the history or not.

What is the price? If its 23 or 24K then it sounds like a good deal. Personally, I don't really care too much about HPFP issues, bulbs etc. As long as you have CPO and a local dealer for service.

The price was listed at $27,800, but I haven't made any offers and I'm really trying to figure out where my best move is from here. I'm going to be trading in a car which is of equal value and the dealer doesn't know that yet. I'd love to get my hands on a 2009 with the same features for under 30k, but I'm pretty sure I'm dreaming

I also have had a hard time finding color/feature combo's that I want. I'd take a white, silver, graphite....possibly blue (lighter color) if they were optioned like this one. I'm just having a hard time locating those cars and i'm too picky to settle on one that doesn't meet the criteria.
