Just wonder if you guys ever go to your High school Prom or Senior Prom since that time of the year is comin soon

Okay 2 weeks before my Prom I started dating this chick. Asked her if she wanted to go and she said she wasnt ready

guess it takes a long ass time to find dress and all that stuff??

Was gonna this other chick but then I felt bad cus I cant just leave my gf at home and go with someone else. Besides, none of asian crew members went

so I ended up not going. Still regretting it to this day. :mad:

So you never went to prom in back in your high skool time????? I'm in the same situation so Iono wat to do since dis is my last year in high skool

PS- my Sr. PRom was on a boat and I didnt go!!! F&CK!!!

dress picking and corsage picking is so lollers and stressful for the girl
guys have it so much easier for that day

Dude i hated going to prom its self the fun part was just before going to eat with everybody and shit and AFTER! Go to prom saty for like 5 mins if you dont have fun leave and go to the partys. just have fun and be safe you will regret t if you dont go.

I went to Jr. proms 3 years in a row, 2 Sr. proms; they all kind of melt together in my mind, 20 years later. I went to 2 proms at other high schools, too.

Seriously, if you find that you're not having fun, just leave. No big deal.

You can make it more fun by having dinner before, with a friend or 8, and you could plan something for after, also.

For my Sr. prom, the most memorable, 8 couples rented a chauffeured van for 14 hours - 6P to 8A. Nobody drank and drove. We partied in a friend's hot tub until 7A! Quite a night. My GF had to be home at 3A, so I went back to the party after. It took some planning to make it memorable, but seriously you could enjoy just the dance, too.

The key here is safety; lots of idiotic drunk drivers out on prom night.

i always went to dances in high school, I used to be a mack (hahah, what happened!) Ours was on a boat as well. You should go. I must admit though, prom is the most boring dance there is for guys. If you reallllly don't do dances, after prom and the post prom parties are the most fun you'll have til you hit college. My school was pretty small so we had a mixed junior and senior prom. The first year, I went with this girl I didn't really care about, but it was still fun because I could just do whatever and not feel bad about it. The second time was great because I went with my best friend and it was no pressure, because we go way back.

I went to junior prom, but not senior prom.... I didn't see what the big deal was after the first experience, so me and my friends just went for the after parties. :rocks:

PS: I went to an all guys high school, so there wasn't a traditional prom king prom queen like deal.
