$1000 to lease a convert? Will it get better?
My lease is up on my Z4 and I wanted to get the new E93, but at full MSRP, high money factors, and low residuals, the payments are around $1000. Just not a good value IMO. I just can't justify spending that much for a 3 series. I think you can get into a 6 series for that much.
Anyhow, don't flame me but I'm actually considering a 15 month lease on a G35 coupe for just over $500 a month. I figure in 15 months, the lease cost on the E93 should be reasonable. Hopefully, $1500 off MSRP and money factors around .0018. Is this realistic? I know, the G35 is not a BMW, but it's a fair value at least. Is this a good strategy or just wishful thinking? |

Did you look at an E92 instead of an E93 or G35? What would the lease be on that the way you want it configured?

2 yr E92 Lease is
A 2yr 335 coupe lease with 12k miles ranges from $803 to $827 (depending on dealer). This includes 7.75% Calif. tax.
This was my second choice for a vehicle, but it's a bit pricey too. 3 years would bring it down to about $745, but I would prefer a two year so I can get into the E93 eventually. I guess I was spoiled. My wifes '04 328 was only $400 and my '04 z4 was only $600. Money factors, discounts, and residuals were much better in 2004. |

This is probably at MSRP. You should consider doing European Delivery. It saves a bunch of money and you get a trip perhaps you and your wife could make a second honeymoon out of it (and in style too). |

Those lease amounts are with either $600 or $1250 off of msrp and a decent money factor of .0019 and .0017. I wonder if the discounts will ever get much better than this on the 335i coupe. I would think so, but when?
