e46 M3 DRL Help

Good day everyone,

I am a newbie on this forum.

I just wondered if anyone had some advice on turning on my DRL - im tring to avoid the stealership at all costs.

the car in question is a 2005 M3

if anyone could help me out that would be great.

When I had an E46 M3 I had to go to the dealer to turn off the DRL. I guess you want the opposite and have them turned on? The dealer will charge 1 hour labor to do it.

You can also check out some shops in your area, perhaps they have the equipment to program it.

Good thing the E9x cars give you full control over the DRL.

Coding the LCM module is the solution. Look for a local with coding expertise. It should take no more that 10min to do. I thought that DRL's were the law in Canada. Did you buy a US spec car?

Just an FYI, I know the thread is a bit dated...but we do DRL modifications/CDN or US spec coding for the E46 platform for a small fee. Call or email us for any inquiry.
