e46 M3 DRL Help
Good day everyone,
I am a newbie on this forum. I just wondered if anyone had some advice on turning on my DRL - im tring to avoid the stealership at all costs. the car in question is a 2005 M3 if anyone could help me out that would be great. |

When I had an E46 M3 I had to go to the dealer to turn off the DRL. I guess you want the opposite and have them turned on? The dealer will charge 1 hour labor to do it.
You can also check out some shops in your area, perhaps they have the equipment to program it. There's also a coding thread, not sure if it works for an e46 but you can check it out anyway: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=451145 Good thing the E9x cars give you full control over the DRL.

Coding the LCM module is the solution. Look for a local with coding expertise. It should take no more that 10min to do. I thought that DRL's were the law in Canada. Did you buy a US spec car?

Just an FYI, I know the thread is a bit dated...but we do DRL modifications/CDN or US spec coding for the E46 platform for a small fee. Call or email us for any inquiry.
