Besides the acres of untouched surface beneath the headlights I think this is how the XF should've looked from the start. Much better than the Chrysler-esque launch model.

The shame is that apart from some minor tweaks to the nose and rump that nothing else appears to have changed apart from obviously the new 2.2d with it's 8sp auto. All I am getting from dealers is that everything else is carried over, the same engines, the same ZF 6sp auto and basically the same interiors.
I'm hoping they are wrong and it gains the ZF 8sp for the rest of the range, along with some of the electronics from the XJ because with these it could be a real force to be reckoned with. |
