Any free photo editing program?

I lost my copy of PhotoShop and replaced my PC. Any ideas or suggestions for a free photo editing program hat I can download in the meantime? Thanks!

I was looking at GIMP 2 last night. Was kinda weary about malware, etc. Is that not an issue w/ this app? And thanks for y'all's input.

just dl gimp, thanks h00p. looks like it will work great for my basic needs

Gimp is the way to go. It's what the developers/programmers use when they don't want to pay for pshop.
