hacking being a video game/visual interface. Stupid yes, but how else do you display it to the masses? Show a guy typing at a keyboard for hours? THAT'S fun.

12/16 core guess? Well he did see the desktop, and if you think of things like alienwares, if you have a brand new alienware someone very well may ask you 'is that a 6 core?'
