What's the life expectancy of stock e90 halogens?

My Nissan's headlamps (9004 halogen) lasted 11 years for the right, 13 years for the left. Once they got replaced, however, the bulbs seem to last only a year or so. Prolly USA made v. Mexico made I guess. My mom's CR-V, which has a H1, lasted 5 years. Don't see why a BMW should last any shorter or longer imho....so at least 5 and maybe 10 or more.

500-600 hours......250-300 for "super bright" ones
