Washer Fluid Bottle?
How do I get to the bottle? I have a slow leak in it and i'm not sure if it is a loose hose, or a cracked hose. I cant see how I get to it to check it out. Maybe someone has the diagram of this area of the car they can post.
thanks in advance.

IIRC, the washer fluid bottle in on the passenger's side, in the wheel well. You need to remove the front passenger tire, and then remove the wheel liner. The fluid bottle is located in the rear of the wheel well.

Are they known for leaking? Is this common?

Mine will leak after driving, then seal up as it sits. Then after another ride, it starts leaking again.

I have the opposite problem in that I can't get fluid to come out. I already have had it into the dealer twice and they told me the screen was plugged and they fixed it. Two weeks later and its doing the same thing so it looks like trip number three.

So the car is out of warranty, so $200 trip to fix a leak is not an option. How do I get to the bottle? Fender trim, or from under the car? I am not going to pull off the fender to do it. I would rather deal without. What was BMW thinking on this shotty design? VW's have a better bottle design.

My washer pump was the cause of the leak I was experiencing. The pump worked fine however it was leaking through the vent hole on the side of the pump. It seems to be a common problem.
