Magic bmw turn signals
I don't know if it's just me, but on my 2010 328xi my turn signals flash extremely bright and so high that I can see them flashing on the street signs.
I read in an article and heard on a radio station (DC hot 99.5 the best station out there in washington DC) that ambulances and fire trucks use the flashing lights off of their trucks to help change the lights quicker to green. I don't know if it's just me but when I come to a red light day or night with my turning signal..the light seems to change pretty quick. I dot know if it's just me I was wondering if anyone noticed this. |

I guess you can consider LEDs "magic" lol, I guess compared to halogen bulbs they are...
What I'm more interested in is why the front LED modules for the turn signals have different part nos. between euro and US spec cars. Wonder how they're different... |

A agree they are extremely bright, to the point of being too bright, at least the front signals. I have a 2011 335i, and at night when waiting for the light to change, every reflective surface in the intersection flashes in sync with my turn signal. I find it annoying, and I'd have to believe my fellow motorists do too. These ultra-bright turn signals are of course safer in daylight, but at night they are simply too bright, imo.
