Does side mirrors come standard retractable or not?

My car is a 2006 325i got into a accident and when I went to visit the car in the shop I pressed the button to retract the mirror and it wont close. The mirror will tilt but did he buy the wrong mirror? Nothing was wrong with the mirrors before but insurance payed for it so he replace it

I actually believe that retractable mirrors are a feature that you add on. So no i dont believe it comes standard

Possibility he bought the wrong mirrors then

First thought was he installed it wrong but installation is actualy simple plug-and-play

Not standard, power of the Premium Package (ZPP). Probably got the wrong part, or didn't connect things up correctly.

If the car has the button to fold mirrors then you had folding mirrors.
