What\' a good price to pay today?

I'm in the market for a loaded white/black M sport sedan. There are several out there that meet my needs but prices seem to be all over the place. I've heard MSRP minus $3000, Invoice plus $1000, Invoice plus $500, etc. They sticker between $46-48 but is there an easy way to figure the invoice or at least get reasonably close? The best I can figure is that invoice is around 7% off MSRP. Is that about right and is invoice the best deal today?
Thanks
Greg

I just placed an order for a 2011 M-sport sedan with an MSRP of almost 54k for $200 under invoice price plus a $349 doc fee.

i keep seeing folks here pay under invoice on vehicles, but I also hear to start at invoice and go up.

How do you guys get a car below cost? Nice deal btw

People get cars below invoice because the invoice price is never what the dealer actually pays for the vehical. They get all kinds of rebates and incetives from BMW, invoice is just a veil. Just go at the right time of the month(lol) and shop around some dealers will neg more than others. In fact I think their is a sponsor on here that might be able to help.

And if you mention that you'll be using them for all your maintenance, then it'll be an even sweeter deal for you.

The dealer is actually paying around $1200 less than invoice price to buy the vehicle, plus they then add the doc fee on top of that to pad their profit.
