New Member + Questions

Sup everyone? Im new to e90 post from e90 fanatics because i couldnt get any answers over there, hopefully this will work out better. I recently purchased a 2007 328xi and I'm unhappy with the brakes and dust they produce. Im looking into ceramic pads but am unsure of where to start. I have heard of Hawk pads but dont know anything about ceramic pads. Could someone please help me out and inform me what I should look into and what to look for in pads. Thanks for the input... hopefully this experience will be better than fanatics

I would begin research under the Brakes and Suspension forum to find out personal reactions from users of brake pad manufactures: EBC. Cool Carbon, Pagid, OEM, Hawk, Performance Friction, and many others.

It sounds like Cool Carbon may be one pad manufacture you may want look into.

I did not know you have the corner market of giving advice? Some forum newbies are looking for answers without doing a search first. Let's not get into a huff about it. I simply gave an answer as well you did.

I really like the Axxis/PBR Metal Master pads:

http://www.turnermotorsport.com/BMW-...mw-brakes.aspx

I usually buy my pads from Turner and my rotors & wear sensor(s) from Tischer (www.getbmwparts.com).

These pads are great! No squeal, great, consistent stopping power, and far less brake dust than OEM.

Hilarious. This is why threads are so long. One guy gives a perfectly good definitive answer(the link above) and the next guy gives the SAME answer and then give the guy crap....too funny.

Hahaha, at least we can all laugh about it, and not the other way around.

We always recommend our customers who are looking for low brake dust pads to go with the Axxis Deluxe Brake Pads.
The pads feature low dust, as well as no squealing, our customers have always been happy.

Feel free to contact me if you have any additional questions.

Best Regards,
Ron
